Bass Guitar

Bass guitar lessons for every age, taught by bassist Ashenafi in classes of five students at most. Learn the part that anchors a band: steady timing, clean tone, and lines you can lock in with a drummer. Beginners are welcome, no experience needed.

Skill levels

Beginner to advanced

The part that holds a whole band together: groove, timing, and the low end, from your very first line.

Beginner

No experience needed. Get comfortable holding the instrument, find the notes on the fretboard, and play your first steady bass lines.

Intermediate

Lock in with the drums. Scales and patterns, tighter timing, and playing real songs all the way through.

Advanced

Refine tone and technique, explore improvisation and style, and prepare parts for performance with a full band.

Bass Guitar lessons come in group, semi-private, and one-on-one formats, and every one starts with a first lesson.

Questions, answered

Do I need my own keyboard or guitar to start?

No. We have instruments available during class, so you can start right away. Once you're sure you want to continue, we're glad to help you choose an instrument for practicing at home, no rush, no pressure.

What ages do you teach?

Everyone: children from age 6, teens, and adults. Our classes and pacing are tailored to each age group, and beginners of any age are always welcome.

What happens at my first lesson?

You'll meet your teacher, try out the instrument, and get a feel for the class: no card required and no obligation to continue. It's the easiest way to decide if Misgana is right for you.
